Explanation
「すると」 has 2 uses
1And then
You do something, and right after that something unexpected happens: 「
I whistled, and a little bird came.
I cleaned out the closet for the first time in ages, and the clothes I thought I'd lost turned up.
2In that case
Draws a conclusion from what the other person just said, usually in conversation: 「すると、もう大学生ですね」 (so you're already at university).
"I was born in 19XX." "Then you're old enough to drive."
You are 19? So you mean to say that you are a freshman, right?
Mixed up with
What follows 「すると」 is something that happens naturally or a deduction, not your own order, request or decision.
「そこで」 means that because of the situation, you deliberately did something: 「雨が降ってきた。
「それでは」 moves on to the next step or sums up: 'well then'.
