「抜く」 has 2 uses

1To the very end

Pushing through difficulty all the way to the end: 「走り抜く」 (run the whole way), 「守り抜く」 (protect to the last), 「生き抜く」 (survive).

自分じぶんの子供こども達たちを守まもり抜ぬくためならなんでもできる。

I could do anything to protect my kids till the end.

私わたしは何なにがあっても最後さいごまでやり抜ぬかないと気きが済すまないです。

I can't have peace of mind until I finish something completely, no matter what happens.

2Thoroughly

To the utmost, mostly with thinking, worrying and knowing: 「考え抜く」 (think through), 「悩み抜く」 (agonise over), 「知り抜く」 (know inside out).

ウォルターさんは化学かがくのことなら知しり抜ぬいている。

Walter-san knows chemistry inside out.

考かんがえ抜ぬいた結果けっか、俺おれは大学だいがくを中退ちゅうたいして親父おやじの会社かいしゃを継つぐことにした。

After thoroughly thinking about it, I decided to drop out of college and take over my father's company.

Mixed up with

「抜く」: pushing through pain and obstacles to the end. 「フルマラソンを走り抜いた」 (I ran the whole marathon).

「切る」: finishing completely with nothing left, or reaching an extreme. 「使い切る」 (use up), 「疲れ切る」 (be worn out), 「信じ切る」 (trust completely).

「通す」: keeping a belief or attitude unchanged from start to finish. 「初志を貫き通す」 (stick to the original aim), 「嘘をつき通す」 (keep up a lie to the end).
