Explanation

「なお、」 starts a sentence and means 'note also that'. After the main message, it adds a note, an exception or a side remark. It is common at the end of notices, flyers and business e-mails. What it adds must be closely tied to the topic: 「明日は開館します。なお、17時で閉館となります」 (We will be open tomorrow. Please note that we close at 5 p.m.).

Mixed up with

「なお」: after the main point, adds details, exceptions or things to note.

「また」: lists another item of equal weight: 「また、次の点にも注意してください」 (Also, please note the following).

「ちなみに」: adds an interesting side fact or reference; chatty, not for formal rules.
