How to tell them apart

「にせよ/にしろ」: after granting the first part, the proper attitude or judgment stays the same; the result can be advice, a claim or a duty.

「としても」: a purely hypothetical concession; stronger sense of supposition.

「たところで」: the result is always futile, 'it won't help even if you do'.
