Explanation

「Nをおいてほかに～ない」 means 'there is nothing/no one but N'. You name a person, group, plan or moment, and then flatly deny any other: only this one fits. 「彼をおいて他にリーダーにふさわしい人物はいない」 (There is no one but him fit to be leader), 「今をおいて好機はない」 (There is no better chance than now). It shows great trust and respect, a high compliment. 「ほかに」 can be left out.

Mixed up with

「をおいてほかに～ない」: the ending must be negative (ない／いない); all others are ruled out and only this one fits.

「ならでは」: the ending is usually positive, about the special charm only N has: 「京都ならではの風景」.

「に限る」: your own opinion that 'this is the best': 「夏はビールに限る」.
