N5
きらい
Dislike, Not fond of
私はスポーツが嫌いです。
I don't like sports.
Explanation
「嫌い」 is the opposite of 「好き」 and is also a な-adjective, meaning 'dislike'. The thing you dislike also takes 「が」: 「野菜が嫌いです」. Before a noun it is 「嫌いな+noun」: 「嫌いな人」.
Mixed up with
It ends in 「い」 but is really a な-adjective: the past is 「嫌いだった / 嫌いでした」, not 「嫌かった」, and before a noun it is 「嫌いな人」, not 「嫌い人」.
Saying 「嫌いです」 straight to someone is harsh; Japanese people more often say 「あまり好きではありません」 (I don't like it very much) or 「苦手です」 (I'm not good with it).
