このゲームはもうあきらめようと思おもう。

I think I'll give up on this game.

Explanation

'volitional + と思う' means 'I'm thinking of …'.

「今夜は早く寝ようと思う」 (I'm thinking of going to bed early tonight).

「~ようと思う」 is usually an idea that has just come to you; 「~ようと思っている」 is a plan you have held for a while, and it can also describe other people: 「彼は留学しようと思っている」.

Mixed up with

「~ようと思う」 is only for yourself and is a first thought. 「~ようと思っている」 is a considered plan and can be used for a third person.

「~つもり」 is firmer, close to decided: 「行くつもりだ」 (I intend to go).

「~予定」 is a fixed schedule and does not stress personal wish: 「来週出張する予定です」 (I'm scheduled to go on a business trip next week).
