As is, While remaining, Left in a state

Please always stay healthy, okay?

Explanation

「まま(に)」 has 2 uses

1As it is

Something stays as it was while another thing happens, or stays that way: 「靴を履いたまま部屋に入った」, 「このままでいい」.

I feel a little hot keeping this jacket on.

Please always stay healthy, okay?

2Just as… (going along)

「〜ままに」: do just as someone says or as you feel, without holding back: 「言われるままに」, 「思うままに」.

I just went along with the clerk and bought an expensive coat.

On the trip, I wandered the town wherever I felt like.

Mixed up with

「~まま」 only states that nothing changed, after the 「た」 form: 「開けたまま」. 「~っぱなし」 follows the stem of the ます form: 「開けっぱなし」, and sounds like a complaint about leaving something as it is.

「ついでに」 means doing one more thing while you're at it. 「まま」 has no such idea.

After a noun you need 「の」: 「生のまま」 (raw, as it is).
