To the extent that, So…that, About the only thing that...
Today, I ran so much that I don't want to run again in my whole life.
Explanation
「くらい ②」 has 2 uses
1So… that
Uses a strong example to show degree: 「涙が出るくらい嬉しかった」. Also 'as … as': 「プロくらい上手になりたい」.
I am so tired that I can't do anything but sleep.
Today, I ran so much that I don't want to run again in my whole life.
2At least
Names something small as the bare minimum, often scolding: 「自分の部屋くらい自分で掃除しなさい」 (at least clean your own room).
Even if you're busy, at least give me a call.
At least say hello properly.
Mixed up with
For strong degree, 「くらい」 and 「ほど」 can often swap, but 「ほど」 is more formal and heavy.
For 'small' or 'minimum' or a dismissive tone, only 「くらい」 works: 「これくらいで泣くな」 (Don't cry over this little thing).
はない」 (nothing is more... than) only takes 「ほど」.
「ば~ほど」 means 'the more... the more...': 「考えれば考えるほど分からない」 (The more I think, the less I understand).
