Explanation

「ようでは／ようじゃ」 means 'if you're still like this...'. You name a poor present state or lack of ability, then declare that things won't work out if it continues: 「これくらいで音を上げるようでは、プロにはなれない」 (If you give up this easily, you'll never become a pro). It carries criticism, blame or worry. What follows is always negative, such as 「だめだ」, 「無理だ」 or 「困る」.

Mixed up with

「ようでは」: criticizes the present state and predicts a bad outcome; the result is always negative.

「たら／ば」: a neutral condition; the result can be good or bad.

「ものなら」: after the potential form, a wish that is hardly possible; after a volitional verb, a warning.

これぐらいの高たかさで怖こわがっているようでは消防士しょうぼうしにはなれませんよ。
You can't become a firefighter if you're afraid of heights like this.
こんなに日時にちじを間違まちがえるようでは、仕事しごとなんてできないよ。
