Apparently, Looks Like, Seems like

I heard that he is apparently married.

Explanation

「どうやら」 has 2 uses

1It seems

A guess based on signs you see or hear; the sentence usually ends with 「らしい」「ようだ」「みたいだ」: 「どうやら雨が降るらしい」 (looks like rain).

It seems like those two are married.

Is Suzuki-kun present? Maybe he's not here? It seems like he's taking today off as well.

2Just barely

Something was managed, but only just, with effort; usually with a past form: 「どうやら間に合った」 (I just about made it).

The roads were busy, but I just about made it to the meeting.

I ran to the station and just about caught the last train.

Mixed up with

「どうやら」: a guess based on visible signs.

「どうも」: a feeling you can't explain: 「どうも体の調子が悪い」 (Somehow I don't feel well).

「どうか」: a sincere request: 「どうかお許しください」 (Please forgive me).
