これはもうあなたのものだから、自分じぶんが思おもうままに使つかえばいいよ。

This is yours now, so you can use it as you see fit.

Explanation

「ままに」 means doing something just as your feelings, instinct or wishes lead you, without holding back or putting on an act.

Examples: 「思うままに絵を描く」 (paint as I please), 「足の向くままに旅をする」 (travel wherever my feet take me), 「感情の赴くままに行動する」 (act on my feelings).

It has a literary flavour and is common in writing about art, travel and inner feelings.

Mixed up with

「思うままに」 and 「気の向くままに」: you take the lead and do as you like, with a feeling of freedom.

「言われるままに」 and 「流されるままに」: passive, being pushed around, going along helplessly.

Both use 「ままに」, but an active verb before it and a passive verb before it give opposite feelings.

僕ぼくはしばらくの間あいだ一人ひとりで、足あしの向むくままに旅たびをする。
For a while I'm going to travel alone, wherever my feet take me.
文法ぶんぽうとかは気きにしなくていい！ただ思おもいつくままに書かいてくれればいい。
