Explanation

「Nなりに」 means 'in N's own way' or 'within N's limits'. Given your position, experience or ability, it may not match a high standard, but you did your best or have your own value. 「私なりに一生懸命考えた結果です」 (This is the result of thinking hard in my own way), 「子供は子供なりに悩みを抱えている」 (Children have their own worries in their own way). It carries understanding and a modest approval. Use 「なりに」 before verbs and adjectives, and 「なりの」 before nouns: 「彼なりの流儀」, 「それなりの成果」.

Mixed up with

Never about elders, clients or bosses: you cannot say 「社長なりに頑張ってください」 to a company president. It is very rude because 「なりに」 implies 'given your limits'.

Fine for yourself, humbly (「私なりに……」), or to show tolerance and approval toward juniors, children or beginners (「新人は新人なりに……」).
