When it comes to my son, he is not even trying to get a job, and he is just sitting around at home.

Explanation

「Nときたら」 is spoken and means 'when it comes to N ...'. You take someone or something you know well as the topic and then complain about their faults: 「うちの息子ときたら、毎日遊んでばかりいる」 (My son, honestly, all he does is play every day). The topic is usually family, an acquaintance, a subordinate or something you deal with often. It is everyday grumbling, never praise, and not for polite talk with elders.

Mixed up with

「〜ときたら」: what follows is always dissatisfaction, blame or complaint.

「〜といったら」: a degree beyond words, e.g. 「美味しさといったら」 (it's indescribably tasty).

「〜といえば」: reminds you of something or confirms the topic, e.g. 「京都といえばお寺」; neutral.
