Explanation

「Vてからというもの」 means 'ever since V, ...'. The first part is not a small thing but a big event or turning point in life, such as marriage, a birth, an illness, or coming to Japan. After it, life, habits or thinking changed a lot, and have stayed that way until now. 「子供が生まれてからというもの、毎日早く寝るようになった」 (Ever since the baby was born, I go to bed early every day). The ending must be a lasting state or habit, not a short one-time act.

「てから」 is plain 'after', and any small thing will do: 「手を洗ってからご飯を食べる」.

「て以来」 is more formal and also means 'ever since', but the tone is flat.

「てからというもの」 stresses that the big event changed life completely and it has stayed so until now.
