N5
い形容詞(名詞修飾)
いけいようし(めいししゅうしょく)
Describing a noun
可愛い女の子がいる。
There is a cute girl.
Explanation
An い-adjective goes directly before a noun, in the same form as its dictionary form: 「かわいい猫」, 「新しい車」, 「寒い冬」.
Mixed up with
Chinese puts 的 in between ('a tasty dish'), but Japanese must not add 「の」: never 「おいしいの料理」 or 「高いの靴」. The 「い」 at the end of the adjective already does the job. 「の」 is only for a noun modifying a noun: 「日本の車」.
