につれて

As…then, In proportion to, (Along) with

運転うんてんする回数かいすうが増ふえるにつれて、どんどん運転うんてんが嫌きらいになってきた。

As I drove more and more often, I came to dislike driving more and more.

Explanation

「〜につれて」 means 'as ...'. As the first thing moves forward step by step, the second changes in proportion, naturally and unavoidably: 「年をとるにつれて、記憶力が落ちる」 (As you get older, your memory gets worse). Attaches to a noun or a dictionary-form verb.

Mixed up with

Both parts must express change (「〜なる」, 「〜てくる」, 「衰える」 and so on). A one-moment action does not work: you cannot say 「ドアを開けるにつれて」.

The second half cannot be the speaker's will, request or command: you cannot say 「台風が近づくにつれて、避難してください」. Use 「したがって」 when you need that.
