N2
Please do
Please go and deliver the cabbage to Grandma!
Explanation
「~て頂戴」 has 3 uses
A friendlier request than ~てください, to family and people you are close to: 「ちょっと手伝ってちょうだい」 (Give me a hand, please).
Rather, please tell me the answer first.
When we receive a response from the client, please tell me right away.
After a noun it is a familiar 「~をください」: 「お水ちょうだい」 (Can I have some water?).
Gimme gummies!
Mom, can I have some water?
3頂戴する: to receive (humble)
「頂戴する/頂戴いたします」 is the humble form of もらう, used in business and formal speech: 「お時間を頂戴します」 (I will take some of your time). Quite different from the friendly request.
We are truly grateful to receive some of your time out of your busy schedule today.
I will gratefully receive this meal.
