Lists reasons or qualities side by side, often leading to a conclusion and hinting there are more: 「安いし、美味しいし、よく行く」 it's cheap and good, so I go often.

彼かれは掃除そうじができるし、料理りょうりも作つくれるし、結婚けっこんしてよかった。

He can clean and he can cook — I'm glad I married him.

彼女かのじょはピアノが弾ひけるし、スポーツができるし、彼女かのじょに出来できないことはないと思おもう。

She can play the piano and she can do sports. I think there isn't anything she can't do.

2Trailing し

At the end of a sentence, it gives a reason but leaves out the conclusion, a soft way to say no: 「今日はお金もないし…」 I don't have money today, and...

「明日あした、映画えいがに行いかない？」「うーん、お金かねもないし…。」

"Want to see a movie tomorrow?" "Hmm, I don't really have the money..."

今日きょうは行いかないよ。雨あめだし。

I'm not going today. It's raining, you know.
