N4
いたす
To do (Humble), To venerably do
私たちが用意いたします。
We will do the preparation.
Explanation
「いたす」 is the humble form of 「する」, used for what you or your side do. By lowering yourself you show respect. The polite form is 「いたします」: 「私が担当いたします」 (I will take charge), 「失礼いたします」, 「よろしくお願いいたします」. It also sits inside 「お〜いたします」 and 「ご〜いたします」, the backbone of business honorifics.
Mixed up with
Do not confuse it with 「なさる」: use 「なさる」 for the other person and 「いたす」 for yourself. 「先生はそうおっしゃいました」 raises the teacher; 「私が担当いたします」 lowers me.
Never say 「×あなたは何をいたしますか」 to someone. Say 「何をなさいますか」.
